Preschool
Beginning with the start of the 2021-2022 School year, St. Johns’ preschool will transition to a year-round program, operating all School year long and through the summer for our 3- and 4-year-olds.
The goal is that a year-round program will provide you with consistent days and hours to help with your schedule, and you’ll know that our caring, licensed, full time early learning faculty are here for your little ones, delivering a top-notch preschool curriculum and experience. Plus, you’ll get the convenience of one-stop drop-off and pick-up of all of your students with extended before-school and after-school care through our After School Program, and no separate summer camp forms to fill out or payments to make.
The mission of St. Johns preschool program is to provide a caring, and stimulating early childhood educational environment as the foundation for a superior college preparatory program.
In St. Johns preschool, our philosophy is to employ highly qualified faculty and to recognize and accept the individuality of each child while helping children explore and develop as they construct a positive self-concept. Faculty provides educational opportunities that inspire each child's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth, all while preparing him/her for the next level of education.
We believe in students playing and we know that play, both directed and undirected, is a critical component of cognitive development. Our guided purposeful play helps students learn new concepts and problem-solving skills in a natural, fun way.
